Session 1 –Team Leader Handout
Welcome to Rookie Camp. Today is LBA Picture Day, Rookie Camp Session 1, and Opening Day at KTMS!
All of our picture times are scheduled to happen either before Rookie Camp Session 1 (9 AM) or after
opening ceremonies (12 noon). Your first task is to set up an area for your team so that the players can find
each other. Be sure to hand out the caps, shirts, rosters, parent handouts, picture forms, and the Session 1
Rookie Camp Flyer. Once your pictures have been taken, you may have some time before Rookie Camp
begins. But all teams should reconvene at 9 AM by the Rookie Camp area (look for signs).
The Rookie Campers will be involved in the Opening Day ceremonies at the first LBA game – the players will
be going out on the field for the singing of the national anthem. We’ll practice this at the General Session.
Each week, you should check with the Rookie Camp Leader to pick up any handouts. If you have any
