He explained to the Board that this filly tended to race very keenly in the early stages, which did not suit this filly
over the longer distances of her previous races. He was of the opinion that the shorter distance today had suited
this filly and that the field today was of a weaker calibre. The Stipe Board adjourned to view the patrol vidoes of this
filly’s previous races.
b) Apprentice Pagel, rider of TRIPLE TIPLE, was given permission to hack this filly to the start.
c) PURPLE PLUME – (Habib) Hanging in over the final 300 meters.
d) TURN AND BURN – (Jago) Saddle slipped backwards in the running.
