I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

Remember some new words about weather (rainy, sunny, snowy, windy and
cloudy), ask and answer with the structure “What the weather like today? –
It’s a....” about the weather.

Teaching aid: board, chalk, pictures, computer.
II. Content

Procedure
 Stick 4 pictures about the weather (rainy,
sunny, windy and cloudy ) on the board and
then point to each picture and ask student to
answer:
“What the weather like today”,” It’s a sunny”…
 Divide class into three groups to ask and answer
the structure above.
Teach a song names
 “What the weather like today”?
 Lyric:
1. What the weather, what the weather, like today, like
today?
Look outside the window, look outside the window
Can you say, can you say.
It’s a sunny, it’s a sunny, sunny day, sunny day
Go out in the sunshine, go out in the sunshine

sing a short lyric about it.
Let students sing one time following the rhythm.
Divide class into 2 groups and give team one two
cards about sunny and rainy, team two about cloudy
and windy , then one by one will sing in turn.
