4. President’s Report: Tony Anderson reported six members of the visiting Accreditation
Team attended the Steering Committee meeting at 3:00 today and asked general
questions about Hartnell’s shared governance structure and faculty’s role in decision
making.

7. Announcements (Senators)—Nancy Schur-Beymer cautioned faculty about discussing
pay raises connected with Proposition 30 since negative public backlash has occurred in
various places across the state. Carol Kimbrough reminded faculty that the Accreditation
Team will report out at 2:00 on Thursday, March 22.
