TO CONSIDER the Revision of eligibility clause 1.3
“minimum of 55% Marks CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale
in the qualifying examination ( 50% Marks or CGPA of 5.0
on a 10 Point scale for SC/ST candidates). For
M.A.(English, Economics, History) Degree holders
including SC/ST Applicants minimum of 50% marks is
necessary.
RESOLVED to approve the amendment proposed for clause
1.3 of Ph. D/ M.S.(Research) as below:

percent marks / CGPA of 6.5 on a 10
point scale in the qualifying
examination (55 percent marks or
CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale, in
the case of SC/ST candidates).
