The Sport Source Showcase is December 1st & 2nd at the
The soccer clinic held Friday – November 30, 2012
at the University of Texas – Dallas Soccer complex.
FORMAT Each team is assigned three [3] matches. These
games are considered exhibition games. Games will be
played Sat. December 1st and Sun. December 2nd 2012 at
the Russell Creek Soccer Complex.
The exhibition format allows players to perform in their
normal role, showcase their individual and team skills
without the added pressure of trying to win the overall
tournament.
APPLICATION
Application Package should include:
1. Showcase Application filled out completely
1. Copy of your tentative team roster
1. Payment in the amount of $850.00 / Checks made
payable to “The Sport Source Junior-Senior Showcase.”
Note: If paying by Credit Card, please add $15.00 for
processing.
TEAM ROSTERS All Teams are allowed are allowed a
maximum of 5 guest players for a total of 22 players
except U15 with their maximum roster size of 18.
All items MUST be included with the application and
received by deadline date. Once accepted to
Player travel cards All team traveling out side of North
Texas are required to provide player ID cards. ID cards
will be verified at registration.
HOTELS Once your team is accepted, you will receive a
hotel reservation form. We have arranged special rates,
amenities and other services to make your stay enjoyable.
All team’s MUST be a member of US Soccer Federation to
participate. This covers both US Club Soccer and US
Youth.
Safety is our primary goal and being able to reach a team should
the need arise is critical. All Teams must stay in designated
Showcase hotels or forfeit entry fee and not be allowed to
participate. NO EXCEPTIONS
GUEST PLAYERS Guest players must be properly
registered with their state association and carded in
accordance with state and national soccer associations.
Guest players must have a team release, travel ID card,
medical release and be in good standing with their local
state association.
GAME SCHEDULE Once your team hotel reservation is
confirmed, your team coach and manager will be sent the
game schedule for distribution to players, family and
friends.
ALL TEAMS PLAYERS are required to have a medical
release. Players and GUEST Players not affiliated with a
local soccer organization and MUST be registered with
their local state association.
NOTE: North Texas Teams are not required to have player
ID card since this is your home association.
REMEMBER: Players without a medical release and
proper paperwork WILL NOT participate.
ELIGIBILITY The Host committee will evaluate teams on
the basis of competitiveness, the strength of league, local,
state, regional and national tournament participation and
over all record/standings.
ACCEPTANCE All accepted teams will be notified via
phone and email directed to the coach and team manager.
Once accepted your team is required to follow all
showcase rules. REMEMBER: Check your email SPAM
box for mail and notices.
If a team applies and is not accepted, notice will be
provided via email and or phone. A full refund will be
mailed to the address provided on the application of your
club unless otherwise noted in the application.
SANCTIONING All applicants must be affiliated with the
US Soccer Federation. Permission to travel must be
obtained from the appropriate state and national soccer
associations.

SPECIAL REQUEST When you submit your application to
participate, advise us of any special request such as travel
or student needs. We will do our best to accommodate all
request made in a timely manner.
Coaches with multiple teams: Often a game can run late and
if your coach has more than one team participating in the event,
we will do our best to have your coach remain on 1 field during
the event to save everyone time.
AWARDS While this is an exhibition format for games, an
award will be given to the team with the most points in
the age group.
