Slovakia round tours
The trip provides the best of what Slovakia has to offer: a stay in the country’s capital
combined with a trip to the High Tatra Mountains National Park, Spiš Region art treasures
and Košice the second largest city in Slovakia. Accommodation is in fine hotels and meals in
good restaurants.
Day 1 - arrival to Bratislava/Vienna Airport and transfer to a hotel. Afternoon Walking tour of
the historical centre – (Route: Primatial Square - Old Town Hall - Main Square – Franciscan’s Square –
Michael’s Street – Ventúrska Street – Panská Street – St. Martin’s Cathedral) Welcome dinner at a typical
local restaurant.
Day 2 - Trip to the surrounding of Bratislava - along the Small
Carpathian Mountains – Pezinok – visit to the Museum of Viticulture – offer
of wine tasting – Modra – visit of "Modra Majolika", the manufacture producing
handmade folk ceramics – The Castle of Červený kameň – visit of the castle

Four Hours Combined Tour of Bratislava. The tour includes visit to the Primatial Palace or Devin
castle, depending on the season. Tour duration: 2 hours by transport + 2 hours walk.
Day 3 - morning departure from Bratislava, ride along the Váh River valley – stopover in
Trenčín, a charming town under the majestic castle, in Liptovský Mikuláš – with well
preserved classical revival synagogue, late afternoon arrival in the High Tatras.

from middle age with a beautiful gothic church of St. Jakobs – accommodation
Day 5 – after breakfast still along the gothic route to Spiš castle – one of the biggest castles in
Europe – city of Prešov with a short stop over – accommodation in Kosice, the second largest city in Slovakia.
Day 6 Košice – short sightseeing tour – gothic cathedral of St. Elisabeth, other historical monuments
on the Main Street – in the afternoon trip in the surroundings of Kosice – Jasov 20 km out from the town with
baroque convent and the cave .....
Day 7 – after breakfast departure via Rožňava to Bratislava and
Vienna, or via Budapest to Vienna, or from the international airport
Košice direct to Vienna.
