Make-up exams and quizzes can ONLY be given when a student presents a verifiable, documented excuse
for an absence. If a student misses a lecture exam or quiz in this class, then they must make up the
assignment within one week of their return to class. Make-up quizzes and exams will be different from but
have a similar set-up to regular class tests. If an exam or assignment is not made-up, then the student will
receive a grade of zero for that test or assignment.
Cell phones should be on vibrate and out of sight during class
periods. Phones will be completely out of sight on exam days.
Texting is forbidden during class time. If you are caught
texting, you will be asked to leave on the first offense. On the
second offense, you will be turned in to the Dean for
academic misconduct!! This policy will be strictly enforced
and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!
