Assessment Section 1 Assessment item: What culture means to me A Reflection: ‘Culture is…’ This is an opportunity for you to present a creative piece of assessment describing what culture means to you. Your assessment may be presented as: a poem, piece of prose or short essay about one page in length a visual story using images and captions to reflect on culture an audio file in which you discuss your concept of culture a piece of traditional art such as dot painting that reflects your culture a combination of the above. There are many factors that determine specific values or behaviours of a person’s family or social group, and contribute to the development of their culture. Describe some of the influences that determined your culture.
