DELREC 2014 Award for Excellence as a Classroom LRE Educator
Recognizes Excellence in the Following Categories:

Excellence in classroom teaching relating to law-related education.

Excellence in advancing law-related education outside the classroom.

Excellence in promoting student engagement in law-related education projects.

Excellence as a participant in law-related education activities.
Application Requirements:
Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Nominees must
submit three (3) copies of the following:

Brief statement regarding your philosophy of law-related education. Limit: One
page.

One personally developed or adapted LRE lesson or unit plan. (Be sure to cite
sources of any adapted lessons.) Limit: Five pages.

List of accomplishments in any or all of the four award categories cited above.
Provide dates/years relating to each accomplishment. Limit: Two pages.

Two letters of recommendation including one from someone in a current
supervisory capacity in education. (Must come from someone other than a
member of the DELREC Executive Board or Awards Committee.)

Submit Names of Nominees by October 31, 2013
Application Due: December 16, 2013
Recipient Notified: January 15, 2014
