We are pleased to announce The 2nd International Reputation Management
Conference, organized jointly with Kadir Has University and the Reputation Management
Institute of Turkey between October 3-4, 2013, in Istanbul.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit papers and posters. General
information on the conference and a copy of the Call for Papers can be found below. More
details on the conference, including keynote speakers, will be posted as arrangements are
finalized.

Call for Papers:
In today’s global and local markets, reputation has paramount importance for corporations
operating in almost every sector. Acknowledging that successful reputation management
often translates into organizational success, an increasing number of professionals invest in
creating, maintaining, and improving corporate identity and reputation. Based on such
building experience, scholars have also researched, investigated, and theorized reputation
and its management. These intersecting efforts have instituted a significant literature that
would saturate back both commercial and academic aspects of reputation management.
Although reputation has gained significance in almost every sector, especially in the service
industries, which rely on long-term customer relationships built on trust, successful
reputation management sits at the core of creating difference. Monitoring corporate
reputation has thus increasingly become critical in such service sectors as healthcare,
finance, and communications. Thus, cumulative experiences and research findings in such
service sectors are valuable for this growing area of reputation management.
The 2nd International Reputation Management Conference aims to bring together academic
and corporate professionals to explore reputation within a multidisciplinary framework
drawing insights from a number of research fields including politics, public administration,
international relations, business management, human resources, communication, new
media, public relations, marketing, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. We
hope that this conference will ignite much needed fresh thinking on reputation management
among various disciplines.
