Prepare Gst beads according to directions on information sheet.
Pipet approximately 100 µl of Gst bead slurry into an eppendorf. Remember to
do the two controls, GST and the beads by themselves.
Wash beads 3 times with PBS by adding 500 µl PBS and vortexing, then spin
down in centrifuge for 30 seconds.
Add 50 µg of GST-protein. Incubate with beads at 4 C with mixing for 2 hrs.
Spin down beads and take off supernatent. Do not throw out.
Wash beads 4 times with PBS.
Add 50 µg of protein of interest that may bind to your GST-protein. Incubate
with beads at 4 C with mixing for 2 hrs.
Spin down beads and take off supernatent. Do not throw out.
Wash beads 4 times with PBS.
Add approximately 100 µl of sample buffer and boil sample.
Load 25 µl onto a gel.
