RADIO FREQUENCY DETECTOR
RFD-2 is a multipurpose sensitive radio frequency detector namely
suited for basic service in electronic counter-measures. Simple
attendance and optimized user parameters make the RFD-2 detector
very useful for all people handling with confidential information. Every
day portable usage is one of the best preferred features of RFD-2.
The main function of RFD-2 is identification and localization of active
wireless bug transmitters. Special compensated detection system gives
the user instant information about real RF field intensity and together
with attached graph the distance of 0.1 to 10 mW bug can be estimated.
The unique advantage of RFD-2 soft-ware is detection and localization
of technologically most dangerous digital and pulse bug
transmitters. The unit also allows permanent room protection,
connection of external probe or line adapter LTA.
In function mode "MEASURE" LED indicates instant RF field level and
switchable variable tone makes easy localization of hidden
transmitters. Adjustable audio output to earphone gives the user
chance to separate TV, broadcast, GSM etc. from a bug transmitter.
The function mode "PROTECT" is suitable for permanent room
protection and has unique features for detection of digital or pulse
bugs. The user is alert by a tone beep on each even very short radio
pulse and the peak RF level of the pulse is written to the peak memory.
The peak pulse level is then together with other function information
periodically displayed by two-digit LED.
RFD-2 is small, light portable equipment namely suitable for operational
room or office check. Namely the bankers, stock speculators,
important businessmen, managers and other persons who could
suffer losses by information leakage should know, that the wireless bug
is the simplest, cheapest, juridically hardly provable device, it means the
wireless bug is the most common form of eavesdropping.
