Upgrade electrical service to south end of park and landscape around new building.
Class B Fairs
Dauphin
Purchase six sections of metal cattle-tie racks to accommodate 20 head of cattle in
each, repair barn stalls, doors and wiring, repair show ring, purchase granular material
for grounds, repair announcer’s booth and purchase/repair signage for grounds.
Dufferin
Repair bleachers, chain-link fence and plug-in for stage.
Portage la Prairie
Landscape around new exhibition building, purchase software, install flooring in new
building, purchase panels for show ring, take down and clean up/replace trees, repair
cement walkway to entrance of office, replace doors in 4-H barn and siding on dairy
barn, and repair grounds with gravel and rock.
Swan River
Repair/remodel bathrooms, repair/build fences, apply sand and gravel to horse ring and
grounds, put siding on office, and provide paint and labour.
Valley (Morris)
Replace existing picnic tables with new steel-framed tables, rebuild electrical
pole-mounted panel boxes, replace walk-through doors on Pioneer Partners, North
Arena and security buildings, replace and reinforce existing wood on north end of
grandstands and purchase three recycling bins.
Virden
Turn the para-mutual building into a men and ladies washroom with showers, office
space and kitchen, move the judges’ stand closer to the show rings to make an office
and an up-to-date space for the announcer and show judges, make permanent show
rings and repair some barn stalls.

Purchase a laptop, wireless mouse, printer and software.

and purchase drill-stem pipe for the hitching rail.

Erect a pole shed, tear down a building and purchase general supplies.

Replace doors on facility, purchase shavings for show ring.
Gilbert Plains
Replace portion of fencing around race track.

down pea gravel on ball diamond.

Repair the electrical system in the barn including a permanent line for the office and
storage area. Repair one barn, build new stalls and purchase quilt hangers for the
home craft section.
Lundar
Build new bleachers, make new signs to promote the fair and campgrounds, and
improve the sink in the concession with new plumbing.
Manitou
Put tin roof on horse barns and repair and maintain bleachers.
McCreary
Build new fence, repair rodeo corrals, chutes, tent, portable stage, track, bleachers and
building and replace signage.
Miami
Erect steel shelters for judges booth in show ring and ticket booth, repair and paint
grandstand and landscape using trees and shrubs.
Minnedosa
Construct new exhibitors barn and office, display hall.
Oak Lake
Provide tent for Kids World and beer gardens, purchase materials to build an
announcers’ stand for light horse-show arena and purchase Quick Books accounting
program.
Oak River
Paint exhibition hall repair barns.
Opasquia
Purchase and install a tin roof and siding on concession building 32’ x 16’.
Pelican Lake/Ninette
Repair snow fence, add and replace seating on bleachers and put new tin on ticket
booths.

Maintain and repair roof and doors of building, and paint, repair and replace windows.

bleachers and old show-ring fence.

Repair the door on the exhibition building, remove the livestock wash rack, install new
water lines to individual wash stations and complete other repairs and improvements.
