Capitol College to Offer Reduced Summer Tuition Rates
LAUREL, MD (March 12, 2012) – Capitol College will offer summer undergraduate
courses at a reduced rate for the fifth consecutive year. All undergraduate classes at the
Laurel campus will be discounted by 33% of their normal rate for the Summer 2012
semester.
“Capitol College is pleased to once again offer its summer semester tuition discount
opportunity to both business and engineering undergraduate students at the Laurel
campus,” said Derick Veenstra, vice president for finance and administration. “Capitol
continues to provide affordable, quality academic programs under this initiative as well
as its unique ‘job guarantee’ and ‘tuition freeze’ programs.”
For the engineering, computer science and technology undergraduate degree programs,
on-campus and online classes will be offered at $456 per credit. Capitol’s business and
management degree programs will offer on-campus and online classes for $236 per
credit.
Students can register for summer undergraduate programs from March 28 to May 18.
In addition to reduced tuition, Capitol offers financial aid to more than 80 percent of its
student body through scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. Capitol grants
bachelor’s degrees in astronautical engineering, business administration, computer
engineering, computer engineering technology, computer science, electrical engineering,
information assurance, electronics engineering technology, management of information
technology, software and Internet applications, software engineering and
telecommunications engineering technology.
