I - Object
The videophony system installed at xxxxxxxxxx uses Full IP audio video intercoms.
The system should fulfill the following requirements:
- xxx audio/video intercoms (extendable to xxx)
- xxx audio/video master station (extendable to xxx)
- Multicomputer audio/video communication software
OPTION
- Graphic user interface
II - System definition
The requested system should be able to manage the access intercoms, the full IP audio
video intercommunication. It is based on the use of the XELLIP CASTEL intercom network or
similar and should include:

Audio/video intercoms to manage the access

Audio/video master stations (stations with touch screen and video camera) for front
desks.

Computers with communication management software XellIP Media. (Security desk)

An intercom server

An analog phone transfer

An IP network between all intercoms, XellIP intercoms and computers

OPTION
A computer equipped with a graphic user interface (security desk).
Intercoms must match the following requirements:
- PoE power supply
- One IP network cable to manage audio, video and power supply
- Integrated induction loop
- Sound processing functions like noise reduction and echo cancellation

III - The different types of intercoms
The audio/video intercoms (reference PAD IP, VIDEO-CLAV-P
CASTEL):
The audio/video intercoms are designed to call different front desks.
 Calling different front desks
 Access control management by keypad (schedule profile management)
 Access schedule management (free entry in certain times of the day)
 It must be in conformity with disabled people's accessibility regulation
Functions in conformity with the accessibility law
Law : "Any signal related to the access system operation must be audible and
visual"
During the call, the intercom generates a configurable vocal message and the
calling signal led goes ON
When the communication is established, the intercom generates a configurable
vocal message and the call establish signal led goes ON.
When the internal relay is activated, the intercom generates a configurable vocal
message and the door signal led goes ON.
Law: "When there is an electric locking device, it must allow disabled people to
reach the door and start the opening operation until the door relocks".
The intercom door lock relay control is configurable with an adjustable working
period.
Law: "Intercoms are equipped with a system that allows visitors to be seen."
The intercom is equipped with a colour video camera.
Law: "Equipment with scrolling name menu should allow direct call by code"
The selectable list name intercom allows direct call by numbering a code or a direct
call button.
 It must be equipped with a logo and an induction loop for hearing impaired
people.
The induction loop transforms the coming sound from the intercom into field
emitting through the loop and hearable by hearing aid in T position.
Each key on the keypad should be labelled with its corresponding Braille
information.

The master stations for the different front desks were designed to receive
calls from access intercoms and to enable video intercommunication
between all intercom stations.
 Call reception from different access points with camera visualization
integrated to the intercom

 Call transfer
 Full-duplex hands-free conversation

Multicomputers audio/video communication software
(reference XELLIP MEDIA CASTEL) :
XELLIPMedia is the application software of XellIP package,
run on a Pc and allows audio/video communication between
a PC and a SIP correspondent which could be a XELLIP
intercom, a XELLIP master station or any other client which
support SIP protocol.
XELLIPMedia also enables to drive commands on the caller
during a communication with the XELLIP range product (door
release, etc...)
This "softphone" is based on the SIP protocol.
XELLIPMedia offers the following functions :









Making outgoing calls
Answering incoming calls
Mute function management during communication
Call transfer
Call forward
SIP contact directory management
Registering on a SIP server
Multimedia peripheral management
Security management

IV - Intercom server
The intercom server
(reference XELLIP SERVER MAX CASTEL)
The XELLIP server max is a native intercommunication server SIP native which disposes of
the following functionalities:












Up to 1000 SIP extension management
Audio and video calls recording
Groups and area calls management
Capacity to define group calls with or without response to the caller
SIP Trunk : capacity to connect the server to another external SIP system
Dialling plan configuration
External extension configuration
Voicemail : capacity to create a voicemail so the caller can leave a message in case of non
response
Ethernet connexion protection through 802.1X (RADIUS)
Ethernet interface bridge
SNMP protocol integration(Simple Network Management Protocol)
Thanks to its web server it can be easily set, used and maintained from any navigator.

V - Analog phone call forward
The analog phone call forward
(reference XELLIP TRANSFER CASTEL)
The SIP analog phone call forward "XELLIP TRANSFER" allows the XELLIP intercoms to
make calls to the analog phone system.
It is composed of :
 2 Ethernet ports 100BASE-T RJ45 (IEEE 802.3)-1WAN, 1LAN
 1 RJ11 FXS port, to plug a phone or an IPS2 (ref 650.1000)
 1 RJ11 FXO port to plug a telephone line (British telecom or PABX)
The XellIP transfer has a web server which enables its configuration.

IV - OPTION: Graphic user interface
Graphic user interface
(reference CASTEL GRAPHIC USER)
The graphic user interface allows the following functions:
 Visualize the events on a synoptic
 Incoming/outgoing calls
 Communication.
 Standby.
 End of communication.
 Relay status.
 Forward status
 Intercom connexion state.
 Visualize into a table the ongoing events
 Visualize into a table these events historic
 Make on a synoptic and/or an arborescence several
commands
 Activate the call forward by a time schedule
 Export the events
 Print the events
 Purge the historic.
 Delete the purge files.

VII - Network cabling
The wiring of the entire CASTEL XELLIP intercoms must be made by computer cabling
between the XELLIP intercoms, the different computers equipped with the software, the
server, the analog phone call forward and the voice, data, image rooms with a 90m limit
(F/UTP cable category 6).
The different voice, data, image rooms must be connected to each other
The different voice, data, image rooms must be equipped with active network equipment
(PoE Switches).

V - Start-up and training
Programming and start-up of the entire intercom system must be performed by the
manufacturer technical support.
A training for the users is also planned.
