Medieval Castle Project
7th Grade
This is your assignment:
Build a medieval castle using only recycled materials, paper, adhesive (tape,
glue, staples, etc.) and wire.
You may not use anything else for the castle. You may use other materials
on the base, (I.E. Moat, Motte, Bailey, etc.) but not the castle itself.
You may color/paint your castle or use different kinds of cardboard.
The maximum dimensions are 3 X 3 X 3
Today, we will do some research on different castles. There are many
pictures on the following websites to assist in building a castle.
Have fun with this assignment.
We will have criteria on grading each castle. Your classmates will be the
judges. You will receive one grade worth as much as 100 points.
The highest marks for the castles in each class will be exempt from the
following examination.
Castles are due by Monday, November 9 for Mr. Prange and Mr. Delany’s
HR. They are due Tuesday, November 10 for Mrs. Moore’s HR. You have
6 weeks to build the best castle possible.
