default_output_port
Default value: 1
The value of this parameter is assigned to the "port" parameter for events that do not define
that parameter. The value can be 1 up to the number of output ports used in the experiment.
Use the "Port Output" Box on the "Hardware Settings" tab to configure the output ports. This
parameter does not affect the output port used for responses. Codes associated with responses
are currently only sent from output port 1.

pulse_out
Default value: false
If you want Presentation to write a constant value to an output port at the occurance of events
that have been assigned event codes, define this parameter to be true. (See Port Output) Note
that "pulse_out" and "write_codes" cannot both be true.

pulse_value
Default value: 255
If pulse_out is true, the value of this parameter will be written to the output port at the
occurance of events that have been assigned event codes. (See Port Output) The value must be
an integer between 0 and 256.

pulse_value = 1;
# Just pulse the first data line
pulse_width
Required if pulse_out = true or write_codes = true and the parallel port is used for output
This parameter specifies the length of the parallel port pulses. (See Parallel Port Output) The
value must be a positive integer which indicated the length of the pulses in milliseconds. Do
not add 'ms' to the value.

# pulses are 6 milliseconds long
response_port_output
Default value: true
This parameter determines if response events generate port output associated with those
events.

write_codes
Default value: false
If you want Presentation to write codes to an output port that depend on the event, define this
parameter to be true. (See Port Output) The value of "port_code" will be written to the output
port at the occurance of all stimuli for which "port_code" is defined. When responses occur,
the codes given in either "button_codes" or "target_button_codes" will be used. Note that
"write_codes" and "pulse_out" cannot both be true.
