We are pleased to announce The International Reputation Management Conference, to be
held at Kadir Has University hosted jointly with Reputation Management Institute of Turkey
on October 17 - October 19, 2012.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit papers and posters. Below is a
copy of the Call for Papers and information regarding the conference. More details on the
conference, including keynote speakers, will be posted as arrangements are finalized.

Call for Papers:
There is a growing acknowledgement that the reputation has paramount importance for
corporations from almost every sector. In contemporary global and local markets, it is crucial
to build and retain positive reputation.
The role of social media, in this process, has established itself firmly in the last five years.
Effective response to both positive and negative developments on social media platforms is an
integral part of reputation management for corporations. By knowing how to use social media
to their advantage, corporations could survive from even the worst crises.
This conference aims to bring the academic and the corporate professionals together to
explore reputation within a multidisciplinary framework drawing insights from a number of
research fields including politics, public administration, international relations, business
management, human resources, communication, new media, public relations, marketing,
corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. We hope that this conference will ignite
much needed fresh thinking on reputation management among various disciplines.
