......BUT WHY WOULD MY CHILD NEED PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Infants and children with conditions such as these may benefit from physiotherapy:
 Developmental Delay
 Cerebral Palsy/Neurodevelopmental Disabilities
 Mild Gross Motor Delay
 Difficulties with Co-ordination and Balance
 Paediatric Orthopaedic Conditions
 Muscle Weakness or De-conditioning following illness or injury
Children are not just “little adults”. Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates provides therapy
services specifically geared to infants, children and teens.
Anne-Marie Hamilton, Stephanie So and their associate therapists have many years of
experience treating paediatric conditions. They work in partnership with families to set
treatment goals specific for each child.
The Variety Village clinic site provides access to gym space, a therapeutic pool and a large
selection of equipment to achieve therapy goals.
Physiotherapy Services at Variety Village are not covered by OHIP, however most extended
health care plans cover part or all of treatment costs.
