Gregory Dunlop MA, VetMB, CertSAS, MRCVS Director Gregory graduated from Cambridge University in 1994. After 8 years of working in small animal practice in England, Gregory returned to Northern Ireland and opened Hollygate Veterinary Clinic, based in Carryduff, which has since merged with Earlswood. Since 2006 Gregory has focused on orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and neurology and his case load is now 100% second opinion. He achieved his RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2010. He is an active member of AO Vet, European Society for Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology and the British Veterinary Orthopaedics Association. www. earlswoodvets. corn Following the establishment of an arthroscopy facility at Earlswood, Gregory has developed a specific interest in minimally invasive surgery and has been trained in percutaneous plate osteosynthesis and other techniques guided by fluoroscopy. Another major interest is the surgical treatment of compressive spinal cord disease, where mini-hemilaminectomy and pediculectomy are performed as appropriate to preserve soft tissues and the articular facet joint.
