Silicon Valley Ice Theatre (SVIT) is a successful ice theatre program at Nazareth Ice Oasis for
local talented athletes. Founded in 2002, as th Redwood City Rockettes and later Redwood City
Ice Theatre, the group has become a successful competitive Ice Theatre team:

In 2014 we changed our name to the Silicon Valley Ice Theatre in recognition of our many skaters
who live throughout Silicon Valley. Our skaters bring individual experience in singles, pairs, ice
dance, theatrical, production, artistic ensemble, and synchronized skating to the team.
However, our skaters need your help to reach their dreams and keep this wonderful form of
theatre alive and well in Silicon Valley. Ice Theatre has been a primarily east coast based
program; all competitions, including Nationals, take place on the east coast. This year the team
is hoping to compete in both Vermont (Northeast Theatre on Ice Festival, March 2015), and Cape
Cod (National Ice Theatre Championship, June 2015). Our fundraising goal is $15,000 to help
cover team travel, ice time, costumes, scholarships and other expenses.
How Can You Help?
By becoming a sponsor, you can help SVIT reach our goal of raising the $15,000 we need
to help cover team travel and expenses. We cannot do this without your help. As a sponsor,
you will provide critical support to this dynamic group of deserving young individuals, helping
provide them the opportunity to reach their goals. SVIT is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
In recognition of your generous support, we would like to promote your business or family name
in one of the various ways listed in our enclosed sponsorship flyer. We will be holding a silent
auction in March 2015. Product or service donations, travel vouchers, un-used gift card, earned
miles are also needed.
We will be performing at various local events in Redwood City and San Jose, and will be able to
promote your sponsorship.
