Dr. D’Anna is interested in the biological markers of maternal depression and how stress/anxiety affects these markers and maternal depression in different communities. Shauna earned her B.A. in Psychology from Boston University in 2004 with a minor in Spanish. Shauna spent two and a half years in Peru with the Peace Corps which has prepared her for a career working with families from all different backgrounds. Shauna is fluent in Spanish and is responsible for subject recruitment, scheduling, and conducting EEG testing, developmental and cognitive assessments on infants, toddlers and preschoolers. She is also responsible for recruiting and scheduling Spanish speaking only families. She has worked in this lab since 2008.
