Styl-Plus latest videos are out...
Coming as a follow up to their spectacular debut album-Expressions, Styl-Plus is back in
the studio recording tracks that will compose a new album (have been composed for a
new album). A name for this album has not been decided yet.
The MTN - Soundcity campus blast is blazing through campuses nationwide. The Fans at
Uni Jos recently got to feel the serenades of Styl-Plus live on their Campus. The response
from crowd was rousing.
The videos for the Expressions album are out. Watch the videos of the hit tracks; Imagine

The group STYL was formed in 1997 as a gospel quartet by founding members Shifi
Emoefe, Tunde Akinsanmi, Yemi Akinwonmi, and Lanre Faneyi. In 1999 Lanre passed
away and Zeal Onyecheme joined the group. The name STYL which was formed by
combining the first letters of the first names of the founding members then turned to StylPlus, the Plus being used to indicate the new addition to the group. In the year 2001, the
group expanded from singing strictly gospel songs, to inspirational and love songs. In
2002 Yemi left the group to pursue another career. In 2003 the group teamed up with
Anthony 'T-Jazz' Ukpong and Joseph 'Joey' Ukpong to form their own record label; StylPlus Music.
In late October of 2003, under the management of T-jazz and Joey, they released two
singles to radio stations. The response was tremendous, and the unprecedented airplay the
tracks received fuelled the subsequently massive sales of the Singles on CD and
audiotapes. Based in Abuja, FCT, the group uses its strong vocals and addictive
soundtracks to successfully blend together English and Indigenous languages, on their
Pop and R&B tracks. The Motto of the group is "Positive-Cultural-International" and this
is evident in the positive messages and the noticeable absence of raunchy and profane
lyrics, which characterize most R&B groups. The members of the group are all graduates
of FUT Akure, and are all bachelors in their twenties.

On February 25th, at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, and March 4th 2006 at the Muson
Center Lagos, Styl-Plus Launched its 11 track debut album titled EXPRESSIONS, which
included the Chart Topping singles “Imagine That” and “Iya Basira”
March 2007, Styl Plus releases 5 videos of songs from the album Expressions as a part
of a VCD collection. The videos have again all been chart toppers nationally and
internationally! She Drives Me Crazy, was top 10 on the Channel 0 viewers choice
charts in August 2007

Big-Lo and 2-Shotz haven’t had enough of our boys and it seems that there will be yet
another collaboration with the "Styl-plus crew". If it’s anything like She Drives Me Crazy
Remix, then we won’t be left disappointed! The collaboration is going to be part of the
upcoming come back album that 2-Shotz and Big Lo are set to release later this year.
