Outreach/Teaching:

President, Limnology and Fisheries Society, 2003-2004. I was the president of this club at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which involved organizing meetings and activities, executing the club charter, and recruiting new members.

Participant, Graduate Engineering Research Scholar program. 2002-2004. I helped to recruit underrepresented minority students into the graduate Engineering program at the University of

Wisconsin-Madison by arranging activities for undergraduate students to interact with current students.

Teaching Assistant, University of Wisconsin-Madison. 2002. Zoology 350/351, Ecology of Fishes

Lecture/Lab. I helped develop and execute the curriculum for the laboratory section, and graded for the lecture.

Representative, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Manitowish Lakes Fair, Manitowish Waters, WI. 2001-

2003. I developed a booth to educate local homeowners about our research on exotic species.

Mentor, Strategy for Ecology Education, Development, and Sustainability. 2001. I mentored an undergraduate student at the Ecology Society of America meeting in Snowbird, Utah. The goal of this program is to increase the participation of underrepresented minorities in

Ecology.

Coach, Reviving Baseball in Inner cities. Seattle, WA. 1994-1998. I coached baseball to teenagers in a league sponsored by Nike as an effort to increase financial resources to inner city leagues.
