Hello Family:
This is the first of a few communications to get you ready for our upcoming family
reunion. Please mark your calendars for July 8th, 9th and 10th here in Madison
Wisconsin. Tammy and I are working to make sure that your visit here will be a
memorable one! We will do our best to find out more about our extended family and
try to maintain contact after July 11th. So, please make sure you make every effort to
come here to the Capitol city in Wisconsin.
As in the past, we would like for you to send $50.00 for a single guest and $100.00 for
2 or more in the same family to help defray costs for the events planned. (A family
consists of a mother and/or father and dependents under the age of 25.) Monies will
be applied to food on Friday, T-shirts, gift bags and a banquet on Saturday eve. After
you send your fee, we will immediately send a receipt to you for your records.
We have secured a block of rooms at the Radisson Hotel on the west side of
Madison. Please call (608) 833-0100 to make your reservations. Room rates are
79.00+tax. Reserve your rooms early. This hotel has a game room, swimming pool
and exercise space.
In addition to your fee, please send us your email address and a photo. We are putting
together an online family tree. If you have the ability to scan and email, this will be
helpful. However, you can send photos by snail mail and we will scan and upload
them to the website. Please complete the enclosed form to help us have some history
of how we relate to one another. This information will be summarized and go into
the archives for our family records.
