About the programme
A Consortium of eight civil society organisations from Armenia and Turkey announces the
launch of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process programme funded by the
European Union under the Instrument for Stability.
The programme aims to promote civil society efforts towards the normalisation of relations
between Turkey and Armenia and towards an open border by enhancing people-to-people
contacts, expanding economic and business links, promoting cultural and educational activities
and facilitating access to balanced information in both societies.
The programme will be implemented by Civilitas Foundation (CF), Eurasia Partnership
Foundation (EPF), Public Journalism Club (PJC), Regional Studies Center (RSC) from Armenia;
and Anadolu Kültür, the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), Helsinki
Citizens’ Assembly (hCa), and Hrant Dink Foundation from Turkey.

Hands-On Together for Technology
Exchange: Ankara Based Acceleration Program Hosts Young Entrepreneurs
from Armenia and Turkey
On January 31 –February 4 a group of 14 graduate students, young graduates of Universities and
entrepreneurs from Armenia will meet their peers in Turkey at a four day long intensive acceleration
project. Ankara based Viveka incubation center will conduct the acceleration course giving the participants
opportunities to deepen their knowledge of and hands on expertise on the essential stages of generating and
implementing innovative ideas with use of technologies

Sleep of the Oranges Screening at the
6th Human Rights Documentary Film Days
The documentary Sleep of the Oranges, produced by our Grant Scheme recipients Producer Ferzan Özyaşar
and Director Eylem Şen, goes on hitting festivals telling the story of Musadagh Armenians and it is once
again meeting the Izmir audience. It can be watched in the scope of the 6th Human Rights Documentary
Film Days on the 13th of December (Sunday) at 14.00 in the French Cultural Center.

Cemal Pasha’s Grandson in Armenia
The Civilitas Foundation’s Climbing the Mountain program will hosted Turkish writer and journalist Hasan
Cemal, author of the bestselling book “1915: The Armenian Genocide.”
Hasan Cemal is the grandson of Cemal Pasha, one of the architects of the Armenian Genocide. His host was
Maria Titizian, a granddaughter of Genocide survivors.
