the asthenosphere and
lithosphere?
We will talk about the video they
viewed.
The students will then use their
textbook to fill out an
information sheet on the layers
of the earth.
They will then do a worksheet
where they will color and label
the different layers of the earth.
The students will then complete
an exit pass.
We will review how the
lithosphere is broken into parts
called plates the move around on
the top of the asthenosphere.
We will then discuss how the
plates have moved throughout
the years and view a video where
it shows how the plates have
moved.
They will then view a
powerpoint where they will
learn about the three different
types of plate boundaries.

it to complete a worksheet.

view a brain pop that describes
the rock cycle.
The students will then do a
station note activity where they
will learn about the rock cycle
and how the rocks are formed.
The students will then complete
an exit pass.
The students will then do a cut
and paste worksheet where they
categorize the different images
and words with the plate
boundary.
