PRODUCTS
MULTI-FORMAT UTP PRESENTATION SWITCHER
A.
Provide and install as indicated on the drawing a Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher.
B.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must incorporate the following principal devices
and functionality into a single integrated housing.
1.
Multi Format Audio and Video Switcher
2.
Audio mixing and amplification
3.
On board local device control with expansion to accommodate multiple interface options
AUDIO SWITCHER/MIXER WITH AMPLIFCATION
C.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must accept (4) stereo line level inputs (balanced /
unbalanced) via UTP transmission from compatible UPX wall plates as well as an analog line
level stereo input.
D.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must provide one (1) stereo line level output (fixed
or variable) and one (1) stereo amplified output.
E.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must be equipped with an integrated 7 band
equalizer and provide a separate mix for each independent output.
F.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must be equipped with an integrated amplifier
equal to 20w (10wx2).
MULTI FORMAT VIDEO SWITCHER
G.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must be capable of receiving four (4) video input
types including RGB/HV, component and composite video.
H.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must accommodate video inputs via UTP
transmission from compatible UPX wall plates and must utilize one (1) standard Cat5/5e/6 wire
for each input.
I.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must accommodate auto switching functionality
allowing automatic switching of display when a new source in added.
J.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must accommodate priority switching functionality
allowing automatic switching to a previously determined source when another source is
removed.
K.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must be equipped with a total of three (3) analog
outputs to accommodate one output each of RGB/HV, component and composite video.
CONTROL REQUIREMENTS
L.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must contain a USB programming port for simple
set up and configuration in stand alone applications using compatible Device Control Software
(DCS).
M.
The Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switcher must include an onboard RS-232 control port for
communication with an external device, such as a projector or monitor.
N.
Multiple Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switchers must be able to be integrated into an AMX
Netlinx system and accommodate all AMX interfaces.
O.
Multiple Multi-Format UTP Presentation Switchers can be connected and managed via an
enterprise level software management suite by same manufacturer.
P.
The Multimedia Presentation Systems shall be manufactured by AMX, Inc. and shall be an
AVX-400 or engineer approved equal.
