PROBLEM
HOW WOULD YOU INCREASE THE POPULARITY OF BADMINTON IN
AUSTRALIA?
Task – In your own words, you are to propose two strategies that would
increase the popularity of badminton in Australia. Justify your strategies,
outlining the likely consequences of their implementation.
IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THIS TASK YOU SHOULD:
o Clearly demonstrate that badminton is a low profile sport in Australia.
o Suggest two strategies that would address the above problem in
Australia.
o Provide evidence of how and why YOUR STRATEGIES would target the
REASONS that have impacted upon your participation and perception of
badminton.
For example, justify how your strategies would challenge existing cultural and
media influences.
o Justify your ideas using evidence gained from research and personal
experiences in badminton.
RESEARCH REPORT

It is expected that some form of decision through the process of problem solving will be
made and supported by logical argument.

A report can be divided into sections with the use of subheadings and numbered points.
The report should conform to accepted conventions in terms of referencing,
acknowledgments and the labelling of tables and figures.

