Internal Auditor
Job Location: Orange, CA
Duties: Perform financially focused internal audits to check for mismanagement, waste
and fraud. Identify and evaluate MSI’s risk areas and develop Audit Plan. Examine and
evaluate MSI’s financial and information systems, management procedures, and internal
controls with direct financial impact to ensure that records are accurate and controls are
adequate. Obtain, analyze and appraise data to create an informed, objective opinion on
the adequacy and effectiveness of the processes being reviewed. Review and modify
company’s accounting procedures and operations to evaluate their efficiency,
effectiveness and compliance with corporate policies, GAAP and government
regulations. Develop alternative financial auditing and testing methodologies. Prepare
detailed written reports on audit findings for all levels of management summarizing audit
findings, conclusions and recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.
Interact with managers and finance team to implement process improvements and
remediation actions.
Position requirements:
1 Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting or related field and 5 years
experience in job offered or as Accountant, Financial Analyst or related occupation
