Part V Brief Constructed Response
The title of the unit is, “weather factors”. In the unit we discussed topics such as: energy
in the atmosphere, heat transfer, winds, cloud formation, and precipitation. Pick

One summer day, David needed to return his VHS movie tape to the store. He put the
tape in the glove box of his car. He stopped by the bank on his way to the video store.
Unfortunately, the lines were long at the bank and he spent longer at the bank than
normally. When he went to open his car door the metal handle burned him. Once he
arrived at the video store he reached into the glove box only to find the video tape melted.
Identify the two heat transfers and the type of transfer. Be sure to include the criteria that
helped you to identify the transfer method.
