JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supervising technicians to ensure high standards of CSSD
service is maintained. Continues to be responsible for technician’s duties but
also acts up in times of absence of CSSD Manager. Responsible to work with
CSSD Processing Distributor on floor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1
Works as a Processing Distributor with added responsibilities.
2.2
Supervises colleagues to ensure that high standards of service are maintained.
2.3
Assists in the maintenance of efficient and adequate stock levels.
2.4
Needs to assist and to assign in-service training and allocation.
2.5
Promotes growth and education of the CSSD Processing Distributors and
themselves through in-service training and involvement in departmental
meetings.
2.6
Supports CSSD Manager in the revision and implementation of high quality
standards as documented in policies and procedures.
2.7
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her
knowledge, skills and abilities.
2.8

HOURS OF WORK:

48 hours per week with rotational on-call over.

Qualifications or relevant experience:

CSSD Supervisor
4.1.1
Bachelor of Science.
4.1.2
Certificate or equivalent in related field preferred.
4.1.3
Saudi Council registration.
Personal Qualities:
4.2.1
Good communication skills whether upward or downward the
organisational structure.
4.2.2
Process leadership qualities.
Experience:
4.3.1
At least Two (2) years working experience as a CSSD Supervisor in a
multi speciality hospital.
4.3.1
Knowledge of surgical instruments desirable.
4.3.2
Previous foreign travel/work experience desirable.
4.3.3
Good command in English.
