RIDE SUN TRAN’S UA FOOTBALL SHUTTLE THIS WEEKEND
TUCSON, Ariz. – Stay dry if it’s raining or cool if the temperature is hot by riding the Sun Tran
UA Football shuttle to the game this Saturday, September 16. Arrive at the stadium ready to
cheer the Wildcats to victory over Stephen F. Austin State University.
“More and more people are finding out how convenient it is to take the Sun Tran Shuttle to the
UA football games,” said Katrina Heineking, General Manager of Sun Tran. “We provided
nearly 7,000 passenger trips for the game against Brigham Young. That’s a 28 percent ridership
increase over the 2005 season average.”
Round-trip full-fare is $2. Round-trip half-fares are $1 for seniors 65 years of age or older,
people with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders. Children 5 years old and under ride free.
Shuttle tokens are only sold at the following boarding locations:
Hi Corbett Field, 22nd Street and Randolph Way, east side of the baseball field
Tucson Mall, east of American Home Furnishings
Fry’s Shopping Center, I-19 and Irvington Road, southwest corner of the parking lot
Shuttles begin departing for the stadium two hours before game time and run continuously until
kick off. Passengers arrive in front of Arizona Stadium on 6th Street, just steps from the stadium.
Riders may begin boarding the buses on 6th Street at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Buses
leave for their original pick up location as they fill.

FARE:
$2 fare per game for a round-trip ride. $1 half-fare is available for seniors who are at
least 65 years of age, for persons with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders.
Children five and under ride free of charge. Tokens can be purchased only at the
boarding locations two hours prior to each game.
SHUTTLE:
Service begins two hours before game time and runs continuously until
kick-off. Boarding locations are:
