Some experience of using mechanical excavators, plant and equipment for grounds maintenance and grave preparation/excavation work. Significant experience of working in a safe and tidy manner. Some experience of working successfully as part of a team. Good understanding of safe working practices relevant to the Cemetery environment including grave excavation/shoring etc. and when and which Personal Protective Equipment to use. Ability to carry out physical tasks; to safely use tools and equipment (including powered hand tools and light plant) commonly used for grave excavation and grounds maintenance. Able to follow working instructions with minimal supervision, completing tasks within deadlines. Recognise AF ; Int AF ; Int AF ; Int Other Requirements when to seek assistance from a supervisor in relation to problems at the cemetery site. Ability to work well as part of a team. Good verbal communication skills. Able to work outdoors in all weather. conditions, for long periods at a time. Polite and courteous.
