This workshop will cover the basic principles involved in the preparation for and the safe excavation of graves, including practical issues and the use of correct documentation. It will also provide a basic grounding on health and safety and the understanding of the use and value of good risk assessment procedures. It should be noted that this workshop will assess the competence of cemetery operatives, staff who cannot demonstrate the necessary competencies will not be awarded a certificate.
