4.1 Description of First Aid Measures:
Eye
Skin
Flush victim's eyes with large quantities of water, while holding the eyelids apart. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists. Remove and launder clothing before re-use.
Inhalation Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult or irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a medical professional. Get medical attention if symptoms develop or if you feel unwell.
4.2 Most Important Symptoms and Effects, Both Acute and Delayed:
May cause mild eye irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause mild skin irritation. Inhalation of processing mists or vapors may cause respiratory tract irritation. Ingestion can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
4.3 Indication of Any Immediate Medical Attention and Special Treatment Needed:
Immediate medical attention should not be required.
5.1 Extinguishing Media:
Use carbon dioxide, ABC powder, foam and water spray or fog. Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
5.2 Special Hazards Arising from the Substance or Mixture:
Incomplete combustion and thermolysis may produce gases of varying toxicity such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, various hydrocarbons, aldehydes and soot. These may be highly dangerous if inhaled in confined spaces or at high concentration.
5.3 Advice for Fire-Fighters:
Fire Fighting
Procedures/Precautions for Fire Fighters:
Firefighters should wear full emergency equipment and approved positive pressure selfcontained breathing apparatus.
Do not enter fire area without proper protection.
Cool exposed intact containers with water spray.

6.1 Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures:
Evacuate spill area and keep unprotected personnel away. Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid breathing vapors or mists.
Ventilate area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear appropriate protective clothing as described in Section 8.
6.2 Environmental Precautions:
Report releases as required by local and national authorities.
6.3 Methods and Material for Containment and Cleaning up:
Contain and collect using an inert absorbent material and place in appropriate containers for disposal. Clean spill site with water.
6.4 Reference to Other Sections:
Refer to Section 8 for Personal Protective Equipment and Section 13 for Disposal information.
7.1 Precautions for Safe Handing:
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wear protective clothing and equipment as described in Section 8. Avoid breathing mists or vapors. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Keep containers closed when not in use.
Do not reuse containers. Empty containers retain product residues and contaminants that can be hazardous. Follow all SDS precautions when handling empty containers.
7.2 Conditions for Safe Storage, Including Any Incompatibilities: Keep away from food and drinks. Keep in a bounded area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep preferably in the original container. Otherwise reproduce all indication of the regulation label on the new container. Do not remove the hazard labels of the containers (even if they are empty). Design the installations in order to avoid accidental emissions of product (due to seal breakage, for example) onto hot casings or electrical contacts. Protect from frost, heat and sunlight. Protect from moisture.
7.3 Specific End Use (s): For professional use only.
8.1 Control Parameters:
Occupational Exposure Limits:
Distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated 5 mg/m 3 TWA ACGIH TLV (inhalable) (As mineral oil, refined) heavy paraffinic 5 mg/m 3 TWA OSHA PEL (as oil mist, mineral)

5 mg/m 3 TWA UK WEL (as oil mist, mineral)
Belgium: 5 mg/m 3 TWA (as oil mist, mineral)
Biological Exposure Limits: None Established
8.2 Exposure Controls:
Appropriate Engineering Controls: Use with adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to minimize exposures levels.
Individual Protection Measures (PPE):
Specific Eye/face Protection: Chemical safety glasses are recommended where splashing is possible.
Specific Skin Protection: Wear impervious gloves to avoid prolonged skin contact.
Specific Respiratory Protection: None should be needed for normal use. If the occupational exposure limits are exceeded, an approved respirator with dust/mist cartridges or supplied air respirator appropriate for the form and concentration of the contaminants should be used. Selection and use of respiratory equipment must be in accordance with applicable regulations and good industrial hygiene practice.
Specific Thermal Hazards: None required
