2. Information on the Composition of Ingredients
- Product Description:
Yield Enhancer. Containing Kinetin,
Gibberellic acid (such as GA3), and Indole3- butyric acid and an inert carrier.
3. Hazardous Identification
- Possible Hazards:
May cause irritation to eyes, skin and
airways if contact occurs. Harmful if
ingested or absorbed through skin. No
intoxication symptoms have ever been
recorded in humans.
Product is corrosive in iron and brass
(physical-chemical hazard), however not in
alloy copper/tin, aluminium and copper.
4. First Aid Measures
- Inhalation:
Move patient to fresh air. Seek medical
attention. Be sure to take the product
packaging, label, printed instructions or
agronomical prescription along with you.
- Skin Contact:
Remove any contaminated clothes and
shoes. Rinse affected areas thoroughly with
plenty soap and water. Seek medical
attention.
- Eye Contact:
Rinse slowly and gently with water for 1520minutes, occasionally raising the eyelids.
Seek medical attention.
- Ingestion:
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Patient
should sip water and seek medical
attention.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
- Type of Material:
Non-flammable liquid
- Extinguishing Media:
In case of fire, use carbon dioxide, chemical
powder or water mist.
- Hazardous Decomposition Products:
None
6. Accidental Release Measures
- Environmental Precautions:
All work practices must be aimed at
preventing environmental contamination. Do
not apply directly to water, and avoid
application where runoff may occur.
Because of its nutritional nature, this
product may cause eutrophication if
discharged into water bodies.
- Personal Precautions:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the
form of gloves, safety goggles, protective
footwear and overalls are recommended.
- Destruction and Clean Up:
Recover as much of the liquid as possible
by scooping, then use an absorbent
material (i.e. dirt, sand, sawdust) and then
scrape up and dispose of appropriately as
solid waste.
7. Handling and Storage
- Handling:
Wear all safety equipment to ensure safe
handling. Avoid breathing vapours or mists;
ensure adequate ventilation. Do not apply
the product in the presence of strong winds
or high temperatures.
- Storage:
Store in original labelled container only.
Keep lid tightly sealed and store in a dry
area, out of direct sunlight. Keep out of
reach of children and isolated from food,
beverages, animal feed or other material.
- Incompatible Materials:
None known. It is however recommended
that is not used with any other product.
8. Exposure Control/Personal Protective Equipment
- Technical Measures/precautions:
General ventilation is usually adequate.
Local exhaust should be used if needed for
safe, comfortable working conditions. Do
not apply the product in the presence of
strong winds or high temperatures.
- Personal Protection:
Respiratory Protection:
Prolonged exposure may cause temporary
discomfort of respiratory tract and
headache. Respiratory protection (face
mask) is recommended.
Hand Protection:
As this product could cause irritation to the
skin, it is recommended that rubber gloves
be worn as a precaution during handling.
Eye Protection:
This product may cause eye irritation if
contact/exposure occurs. Therefore the use
of safety goggles/glasses is recommended.
Skin Protection:
This product may cause skin
irritation/allergic reactions in some
individuals. Overalls and appropriate shoes
are recommended to avoid any such
reactions.

to the environment, if used correctly and according to the instructions on this MSDS
and product label. Any waste resulting from spillage or leakage should be dealt with
appropriately (see Accidental Release Measures). Due to its growth enhancement
value, this product may contribute to eutrophication in water bodies.
13. Disposal Considerations
Wastes resulting from this product as well as empty packaging should be cleaned
and disposed of appropriately. Empty packaging should not be buried.
