TWO-WEEK CLEANSE
Avoid your food sensitivities/ allergies.
Hydrotherapy Shower: alternating hot and cold, always begin with hot and end with cold.
 You may do dry skin brushing before shower with a natural bristle brush for 5-15 minutes until skin is rosy, starting
from feet and legs, to hands and arms, then back and abdomen, and ending with chest and neck; aiding
detoxification by stimulating lymphatic system, always brush towards heart.
Bath: at end of day do an Epsom salt bath to further eliminate and detoxify through sweating. Add 2 lbs of Epsom salts
per tub of hot water. Add essential oil (5 drops of lavender). Make the water as hot as you can handle. Relax for 20
minutes. When you get out wrap yourself in a big warm towel or comforter and lay down for at least 5 minutes.
Castor Oil Pack: do 3-5 times a week over liver area for 45 minutes; aids liver in detoxification.
Drinks: On waking- one cup of hot water with ½ lemon squeezed in, add a pinch of cayenne pepper; Throughout the day
drink plenty of spring or purified water, ½ your weight in ounces; Herbal teas; no coffee, soda, alcohol. Herbal tea ideas:
peppermint, fenugreek, pau d’arco, suma, raspberry leaf, fennel, green tea (decaffeinated), licorice root
Alkaline Broth: drink between meals.
 Recipe: Boil the following in a covered pot slowly for 1-2 hours. Cool for 30 minutes, strain and drink 2 cups per day.
o 2 medium zucchini, chopped
o handful of fresh green beans
o 2 stalks of celery, chopped
o 1 cup chopped carrots
o 1 cup any other available dark green vegetable (collards, chard, kale, etc.)
o 1 and ½ quarts of water
o Add cayenne, basil, oregano, plus other desired seasonings, except salt.
Food: In today’s world we enjoy many modern conveniences and live a lifestyle unimaginable just a few short years ago.
However, modern living doesn’t come without a cost. There are two factors increasingly apparent in health care today:
(1) We are exposed to more toxic compounds than ever before – in the water we drink, the food we eat and the air we
breathe. (2) Our ability to detoxify and clear out toxins is important to overall health.

Castor Oil Pack
This treatment is designed to improve the functioning of your liver and to support this organ as it does one of its primary
jobs: cleaning toxins from your body.
Materials Needed:
 Saran wrap
 Heating pad or hot water bottle
 Castor oil (cold pressed is preferred)
 Flannel cloth (cotton or wool)
 Baking soda (for cleaning up afterward)
 Bath towel (if using the non-heat method- see below)
 2-3 safety pins (if using the non-heat method- see below)
Instructions
 Fold/cut flannel cloth into 3-4 layers thickness about 6x6 inches in size
 Cut a piece of saran wrap slightly larger than flannel
 Place plastic wrap on a hard surface and stack the 3-4 pieces/folded flannel on top
 Saturate flannel with castor oil (wet but not dripping)
 Place flannel on skin with plastic on top (plastic should cover flannel, flannel touching skin)
 Optional: an additional piece of saran wrap can be used to wrap around the body thereby holding the
o Entire dressing in place
 Heat (choose one of the following methods):
o With heat
 Place heating pad or water bottle on top of outermost layer of plastic wrap. If using heating pad
turn to medium setting.
 Leave in place for 1-2 hours but do not fall asleep with the pack in place.
 Heat promotes the absorption of castor oil and relaxes the internal organs. Heat should not be
used if there is an internal abscess or if appendicitis is suspected- check with your doctor if unsure.
o Without heat
 Use a bath towel wrapped around body part and use pins to hold it in place. Overlapping the towel
will ensure the castor oil does not get all over you and the surface you are laying on.
 Castor oil pack can be left on overnight.
 When castor oil pack is finished, clean area with a solution of 2 teaspoons of baking soda in 1 quart water.
 The pack can be stored in a plastic container and reused several times.
 Make sure it remains saturated with castor oil before each use.
