Montgomery County Public Libraries report on eReader Training Kit activities
MCPL sent two Information staff to the Train-the-Trainer session on July 28th.
Both felt the training was very beneficial and both feel more comfortable handling
the devices.
August 17th – all of MCPL’s Information Trainers attended a training session in
which our Train-the-Trainer attendees shared what they learned with our other
Information staff trainers. MCPL collected data on the types of questions asked
by customers and determined the branches with the highest volume of questions
asked during the data collection process.
The training plan is almost completed. The Trainers will begin training each
branch by the end of September 2011 and complete branch training by the end
of October.
