Entry into the ‘Feral Photos’ competition is free. 2. Photographs must be taken in Australia. 3. All entries must be submitted with a completed entry form. 4. Entries are limited to a maximum number of three (3) images per person. 5. Entries must be still photographs and can be submitted as colour, black and white or sepia-tone photographic prints, or digital jpeg files. Photographic prints must be 7 x 5 inches (13 x 18 cm) in size. Digital jpeg files can be submitted on CD/DVD disk or by email, with a maximum file size of 9MB per photo and a preferred resolution of 300dpi. Negatives, slides and related media will not be accepted. 6. The image file name must be in the format SURNAME (of photographer)_SUBJECT (of photo) and must be the same as what is stated on the entry form eg. Smith_fox. 7. Winning entrants may be asked to supply higher resolution images for publication purposes. 8. Photographs taken by a remote camera/trail camera or similar device are acceptable. 9. Entries must be unpublished and cannot have won other awards or competitions. 10. If photographic prints are received, they must be able to be reproduced. By entering this competition each entrant agrees to the Invasive Animals CRC reproducing, publishing or exhibiting their submitted images without notice or payment for educational, advertising or promotional purposes and sub-licensing their submitted images to any person for the same purposes. These uses may include (but are not limited to) reproduction on the internet, intranet, screen savers, websites, presentations, publications, and events. By submitting an entry, the entrant accepts that the Invasive Animals CRC may choose to resize, resample or crop the photograph as needed for best presentation of the original image. It is the entrant’s responsibility to obtain any and all permissions of photograph subjects. The Invasive Animals CRC also reserves the right not to publish works submitted in the ‘Feral Photos’ competition. Copyright and intellectual property of the images remains solely the property of the photographer and images used will be attributed to the photographer. 15. The Invasive Animals CRC is managed by Invasive Animals Ltd (ABN 33 114 965 276), which is the company that is promoting this competition in the name of the Invasive Animals CRC. Digitally manipulated images will not be accepted. Images may be digitally enhanced, in that features of the photograph may be ‘improved’ using various methods (ie. USM, levels, exposure and tonal adjustments - localised or otherwise). Combining images of differing content or the creation of new image elements by any other processes must not be entered. The Invasive Animals CRC understands that post-processing of images is a normal part of today’s photography, however at times, there may be a fine line between ‘digital enhanced’ and ‘digital manipulated’ images. Should an image appear excessively manipulated and no long present a seemingly natural scene (in the considered opinion of the Invasive Animals CRC), the right is reserved to reject the entered image.
