The Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre
(Invasive Animals CRC) is a collaborative joint
venture between a number of key State and
Territory departments, universities and industry
partners. The Invasive Animals CRC is managed by
Invasive Animals Ltd (ABN 33 114 965 276), which is
the company that is promoting this competition in
the name of the Invasive Animals CRC.
Digitally manipulated images will not be
accepted. Images may be digitally
enhanced, in that features of the
photograph may be ‘improved’ using
various methods (ie. USM, levels, exposure
and tonal adjustments - localised or
otherwise). Combining images of differing
content or the creation of new image
elements by any other processes must not
be entered. The Invasive Animals CRC
understands that post-processing of
images is a normal part of today’s
photography, however at times, there may
be a fine line between ‘digital enhanced’
and ‘digital manipulated’ images. Should
an image appear excessively manipulated
and no long present a seemingly natural
scene (in the considered opinion of the
Invasive Animals CRC), the right is reserved
to reject the entered image.
