1. Title and Format of Presentation. (Format options: Poster or breakout session. Breakout sessions will last for 60 minutes).

2. Abstract (Times New Roman, 12 point font, MS Word, 1 inch margins). * Abstract should explain how the presentation relates to the theme and should be 100 words or less*

3. Primary topic(s) addressed (see suggested topics above)

4. Three learning objectives

5. Target Audience Identification ( Breakout session only ): Students, New Professionals (0-5 years of full-time work experience as a helping professional), Seasoned Professionals (5+ years of full-time work experience as a helping professional), OR Material covered will be appropriate for any experience level.

6. Lead presenter name, title, and one page resume/vita.

7. Name and contact information (email address, work phone, fax number, mailing address) of lead and additional presenters .

Call for Proposals Important Information

Upon submission of your proposal, you will receive a confirmation of receipt message. If you do not receive a confirmation message within 48 hours, please re-submit the proposal or email njwhite@aggies.ncat.edu

A review committee will select the presentations from submissions received through this Call for

Proposals.

Poster presenters must supply their own poster and be available to present on April 14, 2016.

Breakout session presenters must be available to present on April 14 or 15, 2016.

Rooms for the breakout sessions will include a laptop with Internet access, DVD player, LCD projector, and projection screen.

Presenters may not charge a separate fee for attending their session.

Presenters who submit a proposal are attesting to the fact that the information they intend to cover during their presentation is true and accurate.

 The lead presenter will be the review committee’s contact person. Lead presenters are responsible for notifying their co-presenters of acceptance, rejection, scheduling, and any other information provided by the conference committee.

Important Dates

Friday, January 15, 2016: The lead presenter on each proposal will receive the outcome decision regarding their submitted proposal via email. Information regarding the day and time of the session will also be included in the decision email.

Friday, January 22, 2016: Lead presenters of accepted proposals must inform the conference committee if they will no longer be able to present during the conference.

Friday, February 12, 2016: Early registration for the REMBA conference closes.

Friday, April 1, 2016 : Regular registration for the REMBA conference closes.

Thursday, April 14 - Friday, April 15, 2016: The REMBA conference will occur on these dates.
