Please note that Part III (Progress towards the 2020 Aichi Biodiversity Targets and

been included in this consultation. The response to Question 10 (What progress has been
made by your country towards the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity
2011-2020 and its Aichi Biodiversity Targets?) will be based on information available from
the UK biodiversity indicators (see Appendix 5 for more information), and on information
already included in Parts I and II of the report. Question 11 (What has been the contribution
of actions to implement the Convention towards the achievement of the relevant 2015
targets of the Millennium Development Goals in your country?) will be answered very briefly
by the relevant government departments; and Question 12 (What lessons have been learned
from the implementation of the Convention in your country?) will be a brief compilation of
views from the UK governments.
