WESTMINSTER CITY COUNCIL STATEMENT OF DECISION SUBJECT: Local Development Framework – Core Strategy Preferred Options Notice is hereby given that Councillor Robert Davis DL, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for the Built Environment, has made the following executive decision on the above mentioned subject for the reason set out below. Summary of Decision 1. That the Preferred Options Consultation Document attached as Appendix 1 to this report be approved and subjected to public consultation to comply with Regulation 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development)(England) Regulations 2004. 2. That the Sustainability Appraisal (Appendix 4), the initial Health Impact Assessment (Appendix 6) and the initial Equalities Impact Assessment (Appendix (7) of the Preferred Options be approved in order that these supporting documents can be published with the Preferred Options for public consultation to comply with legal requirements and best practice. Reason for Decision: The consultation on the Core Strategy Preferred Options document (Appendix 1 of the report) along with the Sustainability Appraisal (Appendix 4), the initial Health Impact Assessment (Appendix 6) and initial Equalities Impact Assessment (Appendix 7) of the Preferred Options represents the next stage of producing the Core Strategy, the principle document of the City Council’s Local Development Framework. The consultation will ensure that the City Council complies with regulations and best practice.
