New Mexico Junior Livestock Foundation, Inc.
Scholarship Application Form 2015
The New Mexico Junior Livestock Foundation will be awarding scholarships to New Mexico 4-H and FFA
members. The amount and number of scholarships to be awarded will be determined by the NMJLF Board.
The NMJLF Board will decide the amount and number of scholarships awarded. Winners will be announced by
May 8, 2015 so they may be announced at graduation.
The NMJLF will also recognize the winners at the
NM Junior Livestock Sale in September.
Scholarship Requirements:
1. You must be a current member of a NM 4-H Club or FFA Chapter.
2. You must be a high school senior in good academic standing.
3. You must provide two references using the reference form attached. It can also be located on the
website. Reference forms must be completed by a 4-H agent or FFA teacher. The forms should be sent
directly to the NMJLF Office at:

4. The scholarship shall be applied to any college, university or vocational school.
5. Once proof of enrollment is presented, the NM Jr. Livestock Foundation, the scholarship will be paid
directly to the recipient for college related expenses.
6. This will be a blind scholarship selection judged via a point system. Please be as explicit and thorough
as possible.
7.
Read and complete carefully – only completed applications will be considered. If additional
space is needed please attach a word document. All applications must be typed. NO HAND WRITTEN
applications will be accepted.
