Check
1 Pull out desired tray until it stops
2 Prepare 1 ream (500 sheets) of paper by slightly bending the ream to loosen sheets..
3 Place 1 ream of paper on right-hand side of tray 1, 2 and/or 3.
4 Align the four corner of the paper and place in the cassette.
5 Push the paper tray all the way back into the printer until it latches.
6 Tray 4 & 5 – Pull on the latch to open Tray 4 or 5..
7 Prepare paper as in step 2
Place up to 4 reams in compartment of tray 4 or 5. Make sure paper stack does not

exceed paper limit mark.
9 Push tray 4 or 5 back into the printer.

Check
1 Open Duplexer labeled A
2 Use latch to open upper left cover (also labeled A) to fuser.
3 Open Front cover to toner cartridge
4 Slowly remove toner using orange handle. Hold toner level to prevent spills.
5 Unpack new toner remove protective paper from drum.
6 Shake toner side to side to distribute toner keeping cartridge level.
Insert new toner in front panel using orange handle. Push cartridge all the way into the

printer.
Pull sealing tape from cartridge away from the printer until tape is completely
8
removed.
9 Close front cover and upper left cover.
10 Close Duplexer.
