I, _____________ hereby agree to read and follow the terms and conditions listed below in this contract. By initialing each item, I am held to every terms and conditions listed below. ___ (I) As a guest of Brownstone, I understand that I am responsible for the full amount of any damages to the property, appliances, missing items or any assets belonging to Brownstone. ___ (II) As a guest of Brownstone, I understand that Brownstone will not be held accountable for any injuries or casualties that may be incurred while on the Brownstone property. ___ (III) As a guest of Brownstone I am responsible for the keys to the guest house and will keep them safe at all times and will be charged a $15.00 fee if keys are misplaced or lost. I also understand that I will be responsible for the cell phone while in my care and if lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged will be charged $75.00 replacement fee. ___ (IV) As a guest of Brownstone, I understand that all payments for any service(s) fulfilled by the company are finalized and 50% deposit is required to book the guest house and the balance can be paid upon arrival. Clients must cancel 4 weeks in advance to avoid the non-refund terms mentioned. If you cancel less than 4 weeks, you forfeit the entire amount. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. No shows, late arrivals, and early departures after arrival are non refundable. ___ (V) As a guest for Brownstone, I understand that If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period. ___ (VI) As a guest of Brownstone, I understand that Brownstone will not tolerate unlawful and improper behavior, and if felt necessary will handle the situation as deemed appropriate. Brownstone is located in a residential neighborhood guest shall be quiet and peacefully enjoy the premises so as not to disturb other guests ___ (VII) As a guest of Brownstone, I understand that I must respect all Brownstone employees, property and guest(s) throughout the duration of my stay in the Guesthouses. I also understand that smoking is allowed on the premises, but not allowed in the guest houses. Guest and the members of his/her party shall not use or permit to be brought into Brownstone Guesthouses any illegal controlled substances, firearms, or items hazardous to persons or property ___ (VIII) As a guest for Brownstone, I understand that all the guest houses are equipped with sheets, beach towels, seasoning racks, bath towels, toilet paper, hand towel, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, pots/pans/baking dishes/plated and glasses. ___ (VIIII) As a guest for Brownstone, I understand that parking is located on the property and Brownstone will not be responsible for any damages to the car/ personal items left in the vehicles while on property. ____(X) As a guest for Brownstone, I understand that there is no daily house keeping service. However I have an option of paying a service fee of $50.00 per day if I request house keeping services. The Brownstone Group of Companies’ contract is a legal piece of document that will be strictly enforced if necessary.
