Introduced great looking new uniforms for all travel teams to replace out manufacture old uniforms. Administration Scoped, selected and started a new web site that has been very well received and has been very helpful. The site has implemented on-line: registration including fee payment, score reporting, field schedule, rosters, library for policies and board materials, and event registration and ticket sales. Approximately 80% of registration payment is now on line. Developed and implemented new team selection process that has been used for this fall and proven to be very successful. Partnered with NVYSL and other towns with similar philosophies to create very positive balanced team divisions that are working well. Implemented a new play-up policy to help develop the higher skilled kids. Held monthly board meetings with a strong presence of board members each month. Player Development Began player development programs for all players but especially the less skilled teams to help improve their confidence, team and individual skills. Revised the Jamboree process to be fairer and more comprehensive with better outside expertise to rate the players. Coaches and Age Coordinators worked to refine the definition of specific steps for rating players and standard application of those steps by all coordinators for all fall travel teams. Coach Development Successfully held F License Coach training 30 people. Fields Two new fields brought on-line, Harvard Park and Charlie Waite. The Harvard Park field was used by all levels, age and skill within the club. The rumor that the club arranged to conveniently open a new Dunkin’ Donuts across the street is not true. Other Held a Harvard Night at Gillette Stadium for a Revolution versus DC United game attended by 43 club members.
