Introduction:
The Forest Recycling Project (FRP) is a social enterprise and charity with environmental and social

initiatives to reduce, re-use and recycle waste. Based in Walthamstow in East London, we have been
in operation since 1989. All our work and activities are supported by volunteers.
FRP’s paint reuse project The Paint Place collects surplus, leftover paint from Re-use & Recycling
Centres and commercial companies. The paint is then sorted, quality-checked, re-mixed if need be,
and sold as a sustainable, low-cost alternative to new paint, including for lower income customers,
community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
The right candidate will help develop and drive forward our marketing strategy and plan for The

What we can offer you:
This is an opportunity to work with one of the UK’s largest Community RePaint projects, and one of
London’s longest running community reuse charities. This role would ideally suit a recent marketing
graduate seeking to gain valuable experience and hands-on knowledge of environmental and social
projects in a community setting.
This is the first time this internship has been offered so the right candidate can really make it their
own, including developing and driving forward our marketing strategy and plan. We provide an
induction and regular supervision sessions with your line manager to ensure you are getting the
most out of your internship. You will have the opportunity to network and engage with other social
enterprises, charities and housing associations in London.
