Research interests
…are model developments and simulation of environmental systems focussing on processes of
human-environment interactions and the derivation of management strategies including
 analysis of drivers and scenarios of environmental change on a regional scale
 processes modelling, problem oriented focussing on specific questions like impacts of
human induced land use change, water- and matter-dynamics, species movement
 in regions, with strong anthropogenic impacts, such as urban-rural gradients, watersheds
